Music Video Mondays // Week 1

Since I have a big appreciate for music & videography I wanted to create a weekly blog post that is dedicated to the Music Videos I grew up on.

Blink-182 // First Date

I love the vintage feel to this music video, reminds me of the movie "fast times at ridgemont high" that takes place in the 1970's. What makes this video great is how relatable it is to everyones inner childhood. You can tell that they had fun making this video.

Foo Fighters // My Hero

This has to be one of my all time favorite one take shot music videos directed by the man himself Dave Grohl. Watch how the hero saves everyone from the burning building and how the band appears through out the video.

The transitions are so seamless and perfect!

Incubus // Drive

Besides my love of videography, music and photography I have a big passion for art. I grew up drawing and one of my biggest inspirations is artist M.C. Escher. This video starts off with one of Escher's famous drawing of two hands drawing each other.

Limp Bizkit // Break Stuff

Limp Bizkit has always been creative in the music video department. I love how they incorperate random appearances and fans into their videos. See how many celebs you can spot in this video.

Red Hot Chili Peppers // Californication

I always wanted to work for PIXAR animation studios growing up so when RHCP created this music videos I was blown away by the 3D animation involved. Since I'm a born and raised California native I feel this song speaks to many of us on the west coast.
